Inside 32 St George Street: Mayfair’s new cultural hub the glitterati are loving

In the heart of Mayfair, a stone's throw from the luxury retailers of New Bond St, sits the grand redbrick at 32 St George St -the former home of Shapero Rare Books. As revitalisation sweeps through the prestigious W1S postcode, perhaps no one has seen the proverbial writing on the wall for change as clearly as art dealer Lucinda Bellm.

Taking over the full five-storeys, Bellm and her innovative team have successfully injected new life into a space that stood largely unchanged for nearly three decades. With the top floors occupied by like-minded creatives and financial types, Bellm envisioned a cultural hub - comprised of her long-time gallery LAMB and newest venture Bentler + Bellm - spanning the main and lower levels. A mammoth undertaking that has paid off in spades.
